Chasing Rainbows - With Henk Jonkers

Chasing Rainbows will release the album 'With Henk Jonkers. That deserves some explanation. Chasing Rainbows is the band around Lawrence Rengert from Santa Barbara, California. When Lawrence met drummer Henk Jonkers (Fatal Flowers, Hallo Venray) years ago for a study at the Rijksacademie van Beeldende Kunsten, Henk took on Lawrence's old demos with guitar songs in an Amsterdam studio.

Together with a group of experienced musicians (Geert de Groot, Dick Brouwers, Wim Elzinga), they came to the debut, aptly titled 'With Henk Jonkers'. Songs that are reminiscent of The Beatles and Jonathan Richman, with influences from Lou Reed and Crazy Horse. In short, an album that sounds like your parents' vinyl collection, but just as relevant as contemporary American greats such as Wilco and My Morning Jacket.
