Esther de Jong - From me

Esther de Jong (Dokkum, 1994) makes Dutch diary music. With songs about love, (getting) lost and heartache, she drags you along to an underground world;

where it is largely oppressive, grey and dull but where there is always room to dig even deeper. Because, well, she just likes to dig.

'Van mij' was made in collaboration with Frisian beat maker Wander Kars. Wander's producing role has ensured that the songs have been further developed in the instrumental area.

The EP 'Van mij' consists of artwork made by Gerben (brother dear) and Esther de Jong with the lyrics. All this together is Do It Yourself put together and numbered by Esther.

The LP was created in collaboration with the Friese Vinyl Club.
