Hello Venray - Leather On My Soul RE:

It was in 2008 that Hallo Venray came up with the remarkable idea to release their new songs in two versions: acoustic and electric. Two times twelve songs brought together on the double CD Leather on My Soul . 'We did record the acoustic versions, as intended, in one take. Really as a kind of demos. Everything at once, what you see is what you get. For the electric versions we went into the studio and, as always, did the music first and then the vocals', according to frontman Henk Koorn. Nice, a dozen new Hallo Venray songs in two versions.

But when the idea arose at the end of last year to release Leather on My Soul on vinyl for the first time, a double LP was not an option. Choices had to be made. The band selected their favorites. And so it became a single record with an electric and an acoustic side. Rocking on side 1 and then suddenly on side 2 the tide changes and it is time for reflection. And remastered especially for vinyl.
