V/A - Utreg Punx 1978 - 1982

Utreg Punx is released on vinyl with footnotes and photographic images on the RE label of Excelsior Recordings.

On May 11, 1977, the Ramones and Talking Heads performed in the Rasa in Utrecht. The Dom city would never be the same again. In the audience: Rob and Erik de Jong from Zuilen. They were already punk at the time and were in a band; Blitzkrieg, according to various pop culture historians the first punk band in the Netherlands. (According to some others, Ivy Green from Hazerswoude-Dorp were). Blitzkrieg became the Duds in '77 and were in retrospect the precursors of a punk wave that literally shook the Dom city to its foundations.
