New Bike - Reflections

The new album by Nouveau Vélo is called Reflections . On this second album by the band, Nouveau Vélo shows a new kind of drive. Together with producer Jan Schenk, the quartet has adopted a warmer, more playful sound. Drummer Twan Welten, who left last year, also co-wrote the new material. Hajo de Reijger (Blues Brother Castro) now takes place behind the drums. That is not the only change. Because where Nouveau Velo used to hide behind effects and reverb, Reflections definitively embraces the pure pop melody and comparisons with bands like REM, Orange Juice, Real Estate and The Feelies are therefore never far away.
