Spinvis - Be-Bop-A-Lula

Easter is just around the corner. Spinvis will then reveal his new album, adorned with the primal scream that accompanied the birth of rock & roll. Be-Bop-A-Lula is Spinvis' seventh album and will be released on yellow vinyl, regular black vinyl and compact disc. Erik de Jong, aka Spinvis, will not only be responsible for the recordings and production, but will also personally create the artwork, including the painting on the cover and the written texts.

Every day for an hour in the garage. The assignment to myself was both simple and difficult: only the pleasure of making it matters, the result plays no role. It means nothing. And so 2023 will be another Spinvis year, just like most others since 2002. In the past two decades, the honorary citizen of Nieuwegein created a grand and extensive oeuvre, with a fan base that continues to rejuvenate and broaden (66 million streams & counting).

Erik de Jong is one of the most successful Dutch artists. His six albums are gold or platinum and his latest album 7.6.9.6. entered the Top 100 at number 1.

At the time of writing he is touring mostly sold-out theatres in the Low Countries with Neveldieren.

After the summer, Spinvis will return in full regalia for a series of club shows, including a show at the Royal Theater Carré.
