JOHAN - Pull Up

Don't call it reunion, the return of Johan. A new beginning, that's what it is. But all things considered Jacob de Greeuw's band picks up the thread where they dropped it in 2009.

The resurrection from JHN is accompanied by a classic new album and a revised band who is eager to fold her up. It's called 'Pull Up' plate that mid-April is released and of which the single 'About Time' is the forerunner.

It's not for the first that JHN makes a fresh start. The nature of the beast that Jacob de Greeuw hot wants that once in a while the genius comes out Horn breaks away from that what binds him.

Over the years, many companions on their way. And parting causes suffering. Thank God De Greeuw knows to translate his suffering into timeless, unique pop music that is part of the canon of Dutch rock.

As of 2018, twenty-two years after the release of the self-titled debut, 'Pull Up', just like the four previous JHN albums, in that canon. It is 'vintage' JHN. With thanks to Greeuw of course but also to bassist Diets Dijkstra, drummer Jeroen Kleijn, the new guitarist Robin Berlijn and producer Frans Residents of The Hague.
