Steve French - Dogs

The Amsterdam company Steve French writes ragged, nonchalant indie rock anthems around the thoughts of singer/guitarist and band founder Cees Paris. After the incendiary debut album Lightning Tiger Running, there is now the second “more mature” album Dogs. This time there is more room for experimentation. More effort leads to a more erratic, but more in-depth sound. Jangle pop, noise, kraut, slowcore, punk and baroque pop are interwoven in an intriguing way.
