Lazy Sunday Dream was founded in 1994 by Wim Venema, Rikkie van Doorn, Jan the Lazyman and Tijs Rijnboutt. Later, mr. Maloe Melo Jur Scherpelzeel and Paul van Rijswijk joined. Lazy Sunday Dream has released three albums, namely "Midsland", "Rio Grande Paradise Club" and "Soulages" (available on all streaming services). The Lazies stood out in the Americana landscape and went on tour with Hazeldine (Germany) and The Gourds (Netherlands). They performed with great success at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. After that, a period of rest followed, but The LSD is back. A new album will be recorded in September 2023. At Jurvest in Paradiso they played an overwhelming concert with Kees Schaper as the new drummer in the ranks. A limited edition vinyl single has also been released, called "Slowday" and "Port Sunlight Feat: The Gourds". "Slowday" is the favorite of Tim Knol's walking club. There are only 300 copies printed, so it is a real collector's item. Gone = gone.
