Sofie Winterson - Southern Skies

The new album Southern Skies by Sofie Winterson was made with Benny Sings. It builds on the EP Moral that they made together once before. That went so well that more and more songs were released and there is now a whole album. Southern Skies . An album about the passing of time, the desire for boredom, feeling powerless against the choices of a good friend, about wanting to do something better or differently, about new encounters and creating an image of someone else from your own experience. All of that beautifully set to music by Sofie Winterson and Benny Sings. Together they went in search of the essence of the song. The compositions and arrangements fold around the text and melody, in order to get to the heart of the matter. They succeeded wonderfully.
