Speed ​​78 is the group formed around guitarist, singer, certified philosopher and songwriter Don van Dongen. In 1998 he debuted with the album Skiffle . Recorded with Excelsior interior designers Anne Soldaat and Jeroen Kleijn. More than 20 years later, Van Dongen and Soldaat once again entered the studio for the successor.

“On Goom Agar there are songs with a beginning and an end, sometimes melancholic, sometimes exuberant, with a small line-up, often half-electric and about half of the songs are instrumental. Own material, with a few traditional ones in between. But what are we going to call that? Just tell us: indie folk? roots? psychedelic folk? pop? As a musician you hope that people don't care so much about labels.”
