T-99

T-99 performed over 600 times worldwide, shared the stage with Chuck Berry, Dr. John, Los Lobos and Little Feat, released four albums and is seen as the founder of alternative roots rock. The Amsterdam trio consisting of Mischa den Haring (vocals/guitar), Thijs Gorter (double bass/bass guitar) and Henk Punter (drums) managed to grow into one of the most striking and influential bands in the world. Only: they knew that abroad, not here. In fifteen years they toured many a van, recorded an album with Dave Gonzales of The Paladins, and Mark Lamarr (BBC, Never Mind The Buzzcocks) counts himself among their biggest fans.
