Thijs Boontjes learned his tricks from King Jack, Anouk and Douwe Bob, but quickly found his own way. And under the green sky in the blue sun, Thijs' Dance and Show Orchestra heads towards the end of the rainbow. His theatrical approach to pop culture in its full breadth proves to be a golden formula. Somewhere between folk singer and rock star, he manages to unite café and boutique festival. Wherever Thijs goes, people dance, clap and enjoy themselves.

This has not escaped the attention of the media. Thijs Boontjes is a guest on programs such as All You Need Is Love, De Wereld Draait Door, M and Sander Hoogendoorn's radio show. The cover of Lionel Ritchie's All Night Long has already become a Dutch-language evergreen. Thijs makes Rock & LOL and is therefore our very own Boontje.
