Afterparties - Life Is Easy
Life is easy. You get a name, make money, doubt things you won't do anything about, and sometimes sit back, like a day without wind.
'Life is Easy' is an album written by five boys from the least pleasant province of the country. An album written in the tradition of energetic rock 'n roll and the eternal love for sharp pop songs.
Between the beautiful melodies and gritty guitar riffs, the poems are written about things that concern people with an average amount of problems (you and me): money and girls, how strange it is to have a name, and the inevitable death by either the bomb, or the sadness of growing old or simply forgetting to get up in the morning.
Listening attentively (to this album) is not necessary (and is not expected) but ultimately rewarded. There is a chance of anointing and or wonder and or rapture between the solos, rhyme schemes and drum fills.
An album that will hopefully take up a small place in your easy life and is suitable for every moment; for cycling along the polders - for in the room with posters on the wall - in the pub with strangers - with your girlfriend on the Puch Maxi - or walking alone through the country that will be completely different in ten years' time than it is today.
