Naughty Naughty Violence is the second album by Canshaker Pi, on Excelsior Recordings. The band previously released the song Put A Record Out, one of the key songs on the new album. The band will play at SXSW in Austin, Texas and will start a tour through Europe in early May. On May 4, the band will present their new album with an exclusive show at the Skatecafe in Amsterdam.

Canshaker Pi made a big impression at the last edition of Eurosonic-Noorderslag. The band was named as one of the highlights of the festival by big English logs like DIY, Clash and Drowned in Sound. Following this success, the band will kick off their European tour in the United Kingdom on May 9 and play two shows at The Great Escape in Brighton.

Canshaker Pi's first album was released in late 2016 and was produced by Pavement frontman Stephen Malkmus. When recording the new album, the band chose a different path. For two weeks, the four young Amsterdammers locked themselves away on a deserted island called Vlieland. There, they wrote the songs that ended up on Naughty Naughty Violence.

Previously, the band released the singles The Indie Academy and Pressure From Above. The most recent single called Put A Record Out received good reactions and was already played on BBC Radio 1. The impressive video for the song, made by Groningen video artist Hache, can be viewed here .
