Amsterdam band Cloud Cafe writes soulful indie rock songs with folky roots. Musings, reflective lyrics, and the refusal to smooth over imperfections result in a disarming whole with this somewhat eccentric group.

With less than a year on stage together, the band makes its debut - with an invitation to Noorderslag in their pocket - on Excelsior Recordings. Cloud Cafe's debut EP will be released on March 31, 2023. A musical microcosm of everyday chaos and melancholy consisting of four songs. These were recorded by the band themselves in Haarlem, and the result feels casual and layered in all its simplicity.
