Due to the Corona measures, Danny Vera decided to set up a studio at home. He recorded himself alone in front of a microphone with an acoustic guitar. Hold On To Let Go is one of the results. In its simplicity, this song is one of the highlights of his oeuvre. That is why it is now already on single. It will appear again later on the EP The New Black and White Pt. 4 - Home Recordings.

In contrast to the subdued Hold on To Let Go, the other A-side of this single really goes all out. Pressure Makes Diamonds has been re-recorded for this occasion by Frans Hagenaars and features strings, wind instruments and a choir. This 2020 version forms the final part of the album of the same name.
