Danny Vera - The New Black and White Pt. IV - Home Recordings

Danny Vera will release The New Black & White Pt. IV - Home Recordings on August 28. The fourth in the series of EPs that Danny Vera - in addition to his regular albums - will release on CD and 10” vinyl. The New Black & White always features a few of his own tracks, supplemented with defining covers: Zijn Het Je Ogen by Koos Alberts, In The Ghetto by Elvis Presley and Berlin's Take My Breath Away . In addition to the covers, the album opens with an intimate version of his own Hold On To Let Go . The music is recorded at home in Middelburg. At least, almost all of the songs are recorded there, because Pt. IV includes a new version of Pressure Makes Diamonds . The Radio 2 Topsong has been recorded in a new version with brass, strings and a real choir by Frans Hagenaars in the SSE Noord Studio. All in all, a very diverse album with many different themes, music and instrumentation, but undeniably Danny Vera.
