Daryll-Ann - Happy Traum (20th anniversary pressing)

It is perhaps the most interesting album released on Excelsior Recordings. 'Happy Traum' by Daryll-Ann was released on August 23, 1999 and it was only then that 'people' seemed to realize that D/A really was a brilliant band. Where 'Daryll-Ann Weeps' was only appreciated by a happy few, 'Happy Traum' ended up at number 1 in the Murder List (at the time really a 'big thing', I still remember where I was when this news came through and that I had to cry at Spoor 4 in Amersfoort), it also sold well and some people actually came to the concerts.

Good times then.

And the best part is that the album still sounds stunningly good twenty years later.

That's why we're giving it a good, polished reissue.

Available in good stores from August 23rd. A pop cultural heritage for the price of two cases of beer, it's possible.

And there are also Happy Traum buttons on the way and who knows, the mega hit 'Surely Justice' might even be on the radio again.
