Elephant - Big Thing

Sunny melancholy in a major key. That is the sound of the 4-piece Rotterdam indie band Elephant. The band was born in a year in which a virus knocked out the music world. Against their better judgment, but with full dedication, Elephant threw themselves into writing their songs. They retreated to their studio in the greenhouses near Rotterdam, between the pak choi and the Chinese cabbage. In 2021, their debut EP was released with beautiful melodies, subtle grooves and sober but penetrating lyrics. Elephant convinced with their idiosyncratic approach, sound and songs and they were signed to Excelsior Recordings. And now there is the debut album Big Thing , which was recorded in collaboration with Pablo van de Poel (DeWolff) in the Electrosaurus Southern Sound Studio.
