Indie Academy photobook

Indie rock is dead, they say. The kids want trap, the oldies want covers and the rest don't give a damn. The funny thing is that indie rock bands are popping up from all corners. Young guys who are looking for the golden melodies the 'old-fashioned' way. Also and especially, it seems, in our frog country. Pip Blom, The Hazzah, Queen's Pleasure, 45ACIDBABIES, Canshaker Pi, Dakota, JAGD, KIEFF, MOOON & The Tambles, it seems like they all went to the same Indie Academy.

And that is why Excelsior Recordings, in collaboration with photographer Jorah Terwisscha van Scheltinga & designer Doris Konings, presents the photo book Indie Academy. Jorah has been on the road recently with the members of the Indie Academy to capture them in front of and behind the stage.
