Pale Puma - Haunted By Dreams That Were Never My Own

In the sound of the new Pale Puma album Haunted By Dreams That Were Never My Own, fans of the better alternative guitar music from the 80s and 90s will probably recognize the typical jangle and melancholic sound of acts like The Stone Roses and Felt.

In addition to the shoegaze of bands like DIIV, Beach Fossils and Alvvays, frontman Django Duijns was also inspired by Nick Drake when writing the new album. The single 'Lost In Pink Moon' is a direct reference to the widely respected folk artist. Nick Drake was only 26 when he died of an overdose of antidepressants. At the same age, three years ago, a new, better time began for Duijns. "During that period, I started to overcome my depression.
