The Kik - Boudewijn de Groot's For the Survivors & Picnic live

These are the two key albums of Boudewijn de Groot, his best too: Voor de gezinsden (1966) and Picknick (1968). The Kik got permission from Boudewijn de Groot himself and decided to play the two albums in their entirety in the theatre with a large orchestra. De Volkskrant gave it five stars and wrote: “The Kik plays the classical repertoire of Boudewijn de Groot and makes it one big party.” These acclaimed theatre performances were recorded and an admirable live album is a fact.
