The Mysterons - Meandering
The Mysterons is a band with very talented musicians. In the past period they have matured and grown with concerts on beautiful stages such as Lowlands, Into The Great Wide Open, Motel Mozaique and Paradiso. Now it is high time for their full-fledged debut album: Meandering. The band is named after the sixties puppet series 'Captain Scarlett And The Mysterons'. The young band winks at the same time to the time period they have a soft spot for. There are influences from the sixties psychedelics, Indian sounds pass by, repetitive minimal of Philip Glass and via Turkish pop the band ends up with the Bristol sound of which Portishead was an important exponent. The music of The Mysterons stands for a trip. Adventurous, seeking out the edges, beautiful, psychedelic.
