On his new single Wandering Heart , Tim Knol sings about his car rides home after a show. A feeling he can refer to flawlessly, because in recent years the singer and songwriter has played weekly shows throughout the country. Knol's reference to the music he likes to listen to in the car can be clearly heard in the song. Inspired by the music of Americana heroes and rock bands from the seventies, the result is a classic rock sound with a Tim Knol twist. "When writing this song, I wanted to capture the feeling I often have when I drive home after a show. A nice moment of afterglow and release. I thought it would be great to perform this together, inspired by the music I like to listen to while driving," says Tim Knol.

Wandering Heart , is a warm-up in the run-up to the release of Tim Knol's fifth studio album, which will be released in 2022. The new single has been named Top Song by NPO Radio 2.
