Collection: Shift work
Ploegendienst likes to kick hard. Against the crowd, against closed doors and against public transport gates. Literally. Figuratively, it is a band that wants to destroy every venue in as short a time as possible. Musically, it is somewhere between 80's hardcore punk, oi and trash. The Dutch lyrics are mainly about the great inconveniences of life: tourist terror, broken phones and the system. Compact, hard-hitting punk songs that you want to scream along to right away.
Singer Ray Fuego (SMIB) shows himself from his best side on stage. He relentlessly involves the audience in every show. The band (consisting of veterans of Aux Raus and Adolf Butler) meanwhile rams on at a murderously tight pace.
Ploegendienst walks paths that few Dutch bands dared to take before them: a merciless mix of old-fashioned hardcore punk combined with hard-hitting Dutch lyrics sung by perhaps the most furious frontman of the moment. So bring that mosh, build that pit and demolish your house. In the club, in the pub or at your mother's house. Ploe-Ploe-Ploegendiest..Ploe-Ploe-Ploe-Ploe-Ploegendienst
