Afterparties

Afterpartees brings the fun back into your life. Initially in the area around Horst a/d Maas. But once you've seen the band, you'll tell your good friends and distant neighbours. Via Noorderslag, Pinkpop and Best Kept Secret, it's just a matter of patience before all of Holland is talking Horst. For the album Life Is Easy (2018), Afterpartees collaborated with Rob Barbato. The producer of musical heroes such as The Fall and Kevin Morby is just as easily absorbed into the band's hospitable universe as Limburg folk singer Beppie Kraft, with whom Afterpartees is on stage at the Venlose Zomerparkfeest.

The playful approach to rock 'n' roll, power pop and indie makes for a rare spectacle when the band - of course accompanied by the village choir of Melderslo - plays the surprise on Eva Jinek's face. For a moment we all feel it. Life is easy
