Collection: Matteo Myderwyk

“I want my music to be 'malleable' and playable on different instruments. Not that I want to compare myself to Bach, but his keyboard works sound equally brilliant on harpsichord, piano or organ.”

Matteo Myderwyk is a classically trained pianist who tries to apply the universality of his great heroes to an ever-changing time. To this end, his music and live show are constantly evolving. Sometimes solo on the piano, but just as often he breaks with all classical laws and improvisation is the weapon of choice. Free your mind and jazz will follow. Or electronic music. Matteo regularly appears with an arsenal of synthesizers, beat machines and organs at festivals, in clubs or behind the altar of a church. And if this unique pianist has to be compared to something or someone, names like Philip Glass, Steve Reich, Keith Jarret and Nils Frahm will never be far away. Oh, and don't forget Epicurius! Because Matteo may be liquid as holy water and constantly in motion, there is indeed a goal. Peace of mind.
